Shoes Worth Keeping Deserve a Real Cobbler

Dawsonario Co. has been resoling, restitching and restoring footwear for Westminster and the north Denver metro for over thirty years. Bring us the pair you thought was finished.

A Workbench, Not an Assembly Line

Every pair that comes through our door on West 73rd Place is handled by a cobbler, not shuffled to a machine that treats a $400 Goodyear-welted oxford the same as a discount loafer. We read the construction first, then choose leather, rubber or Vibram stock that suits how you actually wear the shoe.

That approach saves customers money. Roughly half the shoes we see need less work than the owner expected — a heel cap, a reglued midsole, a conditioning treatment. We tell you that instead of upselling a full rebuild.

What Customers Say

"I brought in a pair of boots my father wore in the 70s. They came back better than I remembered them. Fair price, no drama."

— Marcus D., Westminster

"Resoled two pairs of work boots for me. Six months on a concrete job site and the soles look barely touched."

— Tony R., Arvada

"They told me one pair wasn't worth fixing and only charged me for the other. Honest shops are rare."

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do repairs take?

Most sole and heel work is finished in three to seven business days. Rush service is often possible — call and ask before you drop off.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in during business hours and we'll look at your shoes on the counter and quote you on the spot.

Do you repair sneakers?

Yes, for sole separation, midsole gluing and eyelet repairs. Fully molded athletic soles usually can't be replaced, and we'll tell you honestly.

Can you match my leather color?

In most cases yes. We mix dyes and finishes by hand and test on a hidden area before touching the visible upper.
